You become what you think. I have been a human like everyone. I have harbored hatred and had to learn forgiveness. I have thought detriment to myself and others, which cost me physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I have chosen before not to look into myself and chose to distract myself with falsehoods and pleasures. I have chosen otherwise and been granted prosperity from it. I am human like you, and I have learned we do become what we think. Feed your mind with fruitful thoughts and it will grow like a garden. Poison it and surely, the garden will fail. But it is a garden you can ALWAYS bring back to life. It starts with one seed at a time no matter how much darkness and lack of sunlight you have let in. I read this excerpt today and thought maybe some of you could use this so I wanted to share.
When I chose to embrace positive thought and deep introspection, it granted me the tools to be who I was and unafraid of others' judgement. It gave me the confidence to bear responsibility, and moreover, it gave me the clarity to know just how important my students meant to my life and this world. It gave me the ability and knowingness that nothing would stop me from wanting to see their success and happiness.
