People will judge you without knowing you.
People will hate when they see you’re doing better than them.
People tear others down to make themselves feel better.
But how do you counteract this? How do you not let it bother you when so many people do let it?
Live an honest life and aim to always do good with it. If you know yourself, what you stand for, and everyday live to be the best version of yourself you can be, then your worst critic - yourself - will feel validated. It’s not easy. But being honest will allow for no one to dictate what others say or feel about you. And when you aim to give good to the world that can often be so cruel, no matter how mean the world can get, and you’re honest in facing that, you’ll see it come back in multitudes of positivity.
People don’t know you. People don’t know me. A lot of people don’t know themselves and distract themselves with pleasure and lie to themselves. But if you begin to know you, no one can touch who you are. Live by it. And start by doing good.
My brother-in-law is one good person who has faced judgement. My father is my hero and another who has faced so much unkind judgement. And I am me and people have always judged me for being different and standing out. It makes them uncomfortable. It makes them hate and try to see bad. I love it. It reminds me I’m on the right track. Idc what you think of me. But I’m glad to be on your mind if I am because you’re not on mine. I am too busy moving forward.
Aim for good. Be honest with yourself. Practice what you preach. And don’t forget to smile and give a compliment to someone. Osu
