Sempai Zaine McDonald
Sempai Zaine began martial arts when he was 3 years old, starting in the preschool program. He earned his Black Belt in February of 2024. Zaine is also a part of the IFK (International Federation for Kyokushin Karate) where he does full contact fighting, currently being 2nd place nationally in his age bracket.
Outside of the dojo, Zaine enjoys playing basketball and football recreationally, along with fishing and hangout out with friends.
He loves karate because it has helped shape him into the young man he is today, but love it even more because of his passion for teaching. Sempai Zaine gets particularly fond of seeing young ones at the age he used to be doing the same techniques and coming up through the ranks. He loves being able to make the kids smile and being a leader in the dojo and community.
His current goal is aiming for his 2nd degree black belt in a couple years and take the 1st place slot nationally in his fighting bracket.
